EFFECTIVENESS OF EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS FOR FALL PREVENTION: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

ABSTRACT Objective: to assess the effectiveness of educational interventions for fall prevention implemented in hospitals, at homes and nursing homes. Method: this is a systematic review, carried out based on guiding question: what isolated preventing falls adults elderly developed experimental studies? The search took place electronic databases: Scopus, PubMed/PMC, Web Science, CINAHL, SciELO, Cochrane EMBASE. exposure factor was intervention falls, as outcomes: reducing rates, improving knowledge, awareness adherence preventive care adult patients. Only randomized controlled trials, all languages published between 2011 2020 were included. Results: 1,474 articles identified, which 16 Four studies did not show related prevention.
